Solea® Perioguide™

Solea® Perioguide™ allows Invasive Precision and enables to target and remove diseased tissue, often eliminating the need for sutures. Because of the laser’s precision, adjacent healthy tissue can be preserved, which is beneficial to maintain the integrity of the gingiva and surrounding bone.

Solea® Perioguide™ allows a more Comfortable Approach to Periodontal Care.
Traditional periodontal procedures can involve sutures, surgical intervention, and postoperative discomfort. Solea Perioguide offers a minimally invasive laser approach intended to improve efficiency and comfort for appropriate patients.

Precisely ablates diseased tissue – Effectively and precisely removes diseased tissue while preserving healthy structures.
Detoxifies the periodontal pocket – Kills bacteria within the pocket, creating a cleaner environment for healing.
Reduces pocket depth – Supports improved periodontal health by reducing pocket depth.
Supports new attachment & bone formation* – Encourages healing and aids connective tissue attachment and new bone formation.
Promotes healing of the periodontal pocket – Helps restore tissue health for improved long-term outcomes.
Elevates patient comfort & healing – Minimizes post-operative discomfort to support faster recovery.

Supported by Clinical Evidence

A clinical study led by Myron Nevins, DDS and Marc L. Nevins, DMD, MMSc demonstrated that a healthy periodontal state could be achieved and maintained for at least 9 months in moderate to severe periodontitis patients with Solea–assisted periodontal therapy.3 A total of 56 teeth and 145 sites with an initial pocket depth (PD) of ≥ 5mm for 5 patients were treated.

Results

Mean pocket depth reduction was ~4mm for teeth with an initial pocket depth ≥7mm
Up to 7mm pocket depth reduction was observed
98% of treated teeth had pocket depths <5mm at 9 months
Histology demonstrated evidence of new bone formation and connective tissue attachment*

Conclusion: With Solea, a healthy periodontal state can be achieved and maintained in moderate to severe periodontitis patients.
